Classic cruisin'
Modern day vehicles weren’t the only cars on Grand Haven’s roads last weekend.
From Ford Mustangs, Chevrolet Bel Airs, a Porsche Speedster to Corvettes, about 250 cars lined Washington Avenue on Sunday as the Grand Haven Area Jaycees hosted the 19th Annual Wheels of Grand Haven Car Show.
“I like the diversity,” said Sam Janson, president of the Grand Haven Area Jaycees. “It’s a reflection of us as Americans. That’s something I enjoy seeing.”
Janson said the money helps fund things like the Fourth of July fireworks, and it helps attract customers to local businesses.
