M-231 bridge over North Cedar Drive: Beams placed

 Construction crews place beams for the M-231 bridge over North Cedar Drive on Thursday. The beams are almost 130 feet in length and weigh about 120,000 pounds. Six beams were placed. Also pictured are Lee Alman and Betty Bewalda, with dog Bo. Alman sold his property to the Michigan Department of Transportation for the project.
