BLP Appliance Recycling
A four-hour recycling event was hosted by the Grand Haven Board of Light & Power and the Padnos Iron & Metal Co. at the Ottawa County parking lot in Grand Haven on Saturday morning.
BLP customers dropped off old, but working air conditioning and dehumidifer units, receiving a $15 rebate for each appliance in the mail from the municipal utility, BLP Controller Kristin Kratt said, as part of the BLP’s Energy Smart program.
