Signatures to recall Gov. Snyder collected in GH Saturday

Despite an earlier mix-up, an event to collect signatures to recall Gov. Rick Snyder was held in Grand Haven’s Central Park Saturday afternoon.

The event was part of an effort to collect more than 800,000 signatures statewide that would start the recall process on Snyder for his support of the Emergency Financial Manager law, said Jason Collins. He is a Spring Lake resident and one of three county residents heading local efforts to recall the governor.
