Indian Trails Camp Kids Boat Outing and Coast Guard Rescue Demonstration

Indian Trails Camp Kids Boat Outing has been an annual event for 30 years. Participants are teens with physical challenges. Teens ride on Spring Lake aboard Grand Haven Charter Boat Association boats and a flat-deck boat provided by the Coast Guard. Coast Guard Station Grand Haven and Muskegon personnel assist with loading and unloading teens on boats at Barrett Boat Works. Event is also sponsored by Variety Club International, Tent 27. Following Thursday's boat ride, teens watched a rescue demonstration on Spring Lake featuring a Coast Guard boat and helicopter. Also see the separate video posted under the web page video header.
