Former Longnecks site demolished for new Tim Hortons

Demolition contractors swarmed in on the site of the former Longnecks Grille & Tavern, 1506 Beacon Blvd., on Friday, demolishing the structure attached to the Days Inn hotel.

The building is being demolished to make way for a new Tim Hortons/Coldstone Creamery restaurant, which will be built on the site. Officials hope to have the new location open later this year.
