Grand River GreenUp at Riverside Park

More than 300 volunteers participated in the Grand River GreenUp, gathering at Riverside Park in Robinson Township Saturday, April 23. Teams were assigned to various locations along the Grand River. The event was organized by the Grand Haven Area Jaycees and the West Michigan Environmental Action Council. Organizers reported one 30-yard dumpster filled to overflowing and another half-filled with items hoped to be recycled, gathered by Saturday's volunteers.
