Trees planted in downtown Grand Haven

Crews were in downtown Grand Haven on Tuesday planting trees in the first and second blocks of Washington Avenue. The plantings are a part of landscaping work that is taking place as the downtown reconstruction project winds down. Contractors are currently working on the sidewalk and snow melt portion of the third block of Washington, with the project expected to be finished by Memorial Day.
