Sure would be nice if the Tribune online would inform us of these events BEFORE they happen, instead of after the event.
800 people attended the event. I knew about the event and did not attend. There were probably 1,800 other people like me. Quit whining. Buy the newspaper if you want all of the information from it.
Agree with you, Dave! Would have been a nice addition to the 'things to do on the weekend' list.
true, what happened TRibune staff? Care to give an explanation?
The event was promoted widely in the print and e-edition versions of the Tribune. A very large ad ran for about a week prior in the paper, which is likely why nearly 800 people attended. Sorry you missed it. If you're not a subscriber, click HERE to subscribe today so you won't miss anything in the future.
read your promo ad in both places you posted it.
so actually, if someone HAD any income at all (read: job) and could afford to PAY you for the information (both of those are pay services) instead of buying actual necessities with any money they might possibly have, they would have known about this 'community' event.
OK then, Thanks for the explanation Cheryl!
We should NOT have to pay for information about COMMUNITY events that happen at TAXPAYER funded locations.
The explanation from Cheryl was nothing..it was just telling everybody that the Tribunes online presence will NOT be for the community at large.
I have a job, and I CAN afford to pay for both the printed paper AND the e-edition. However, I find neither to be worth the cost.
When I got the paper, I would read the entire paper, plus do the crossword in ONE 15 minute break at work.
When I got the e-edition, I found it difficult to navigate, always having to go back and forth between pages to read the articles.
ya ya ya, it was sarcasm. Man, I hate having to explain that...
