YOUR Spring photos
We asked our Tribune readers to search for signs of Spring, and they delivered. Despite the chilly temperatures that are expected to extend well into April, wildlife gives us hope for warmer weather, and a few tender buds are starting to escape their winter hibernation.
Among the submitted photos were Grand Haven Township resident Debra Feyen’s bluebirds, Spring Lake resident Erica Houghton’s “The Heart of Spring” photo of melting snow, Casey Brown’s photo of a dozen Robins that landed in her neighbor's tree, Krystle Wagner’s Hyacinth leaves emerging from flower beds around her home, and Grand Haven resident Wilda James’ pictures of ice flowers formed in shrubbery and a hawk perched in a cherry tree. Gregg Blohm sent in a photo of his dog enjoying the sunshine and a blade of grass. Carla Vink and Brian Barker round out the submissions.
Soon we’ll have blossoming trees, greening grass and ice-free water. Until then, take heart that the signs of Spring are slowly arriving.
