Eric Johnson of Grand Haven said he and his wife aren’t the only ones celebrating a slight break in the temperatures. “Our cat, Julie, thoroughly enjoyed smelling the fresh air while watching squirrels run around on the grass looking for acorns.”
Eric Landman sent in a cool shot of the Grand Haven pier from his kayak (he admits that he and his friend Chuck Dreese were the fellas who hitched a ride on an ice floe in the Grand River a week or so back.) “Everybody takes pictures of the sunset from the pier, here’s on from the water yesterday facing the pier,” he wrote Thursday.
Angie Royce joined in with another picture of the ice from shore. “Spring is really on its way... this is a very good sign, even with so much ice in the picture.”
Sheila M Kuester sent in a couple of photos of the pier and lighthouse on Monday. “Oh so cold, and oh so beautiful,” is what she had to say about that moment.
Lindsay Cleland wrote in that she's dreaming about summer as she submitted a picture of the beach.
Brian Barker of Spring Lake represented his neighborhood with a pic of where lifeguards will be stationed come summer.
