Holmes Elementary School students celebrated raising more than $14,000 in pledges for a Read-a-Thon. Students who collected more than $100 in pledges earned the chance to spray Principal Sandra Smits with silly string. Kathy Britton’s class raised the most money and earned the opportunity to spray Smits and Britton with silly string.
