Public can preview Grand River Ravines on June 9

The public is invited to join parks staff and the Friends of Ottawa County Parks for a preview of Grand River Ravines from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 9. The preview will allow visitors to view this newly acquired property, including the house that will be available for rental in the future. Refreshments will be provided. The property is located in Georgetown Township. Look for signs to the event on 42nd Avenue, approximately a third of a mile north of Fillmore Street.

The 100-acre property had been an acquisition goal for the Ottawa County Parks and Recreation Commission for more than a decade, according to County Parks Director John Scholtz.
