Barnes-Trusty’s attorney, Terry Nolan, told Judge Ed Post that restitution amounted to “$70,000 and some change.” He said no arrangements had been made to pay back the money because Barnes-Trusty had not been able to find a job.
Barnes-Trusty admitted to taking the money between November 2008 and Feb. 10 of this year.
A personal recognizance bond of $5,000 was continued.
