GH girls advance to regional title game

Grand Haven's varsity girls basketball team improved to 23-1 on the season with Tuesday's easy 52-23 victory over Petoskey in the Class A regional semifinals at Cadillac High School.

The Buccaneers advance to Thursday's regional championship game against Grand Rapids Northview (16-7), which beat West Ottawa on Tuesday, 44-39. That game will be held at Rockford High School.

Alex Law scored a game-high 14 points for the Bucs while Shar'Rae Davis added nine points.
