The attempted break-in happened May 9 to the 1300 block of Airport Road. Police said the suspect tried gaining access to the home by kicking in the door shortly after 9 a.m.
The homeowner captured a picture of the suspect with a surveillance camera.
Police said the suspect is a black male with a medium build. The suspect wore a blue vest, blue jeans and a white stocking cap, and he drove a silver sport utility vehicle.
