Body found floating in Grand River

Police are withholding the victim's name until family members can be notified.

Sgt. James Potter said authorities received a call Thursday morning that a body was floating face down in the river north of Riverside Park. He said police and firefighters located the victim in shallow water.

Circumstances of the death aren't immediately known.
