In a statement Friday, police said it was 36-year-old Timothy Stark.

Sgt. James Potter said authorities received a call in Thursday morning that a body was floating face down in the river on the north end of Riverside Park. Police and firefighters located the victim in shallow water.

Police said an autopsy indicates Stark probably drowned, but toxicology results are pending.
