This free educational event Aug. 10-11 will focus on the Grand River “Above and Below the Surface” as scientists and naturalists provide interpretive commentary during the cruises.
Pre-registration is required and trips are limited to 26 participants (age 9 or older) on each of the six trips. Register with Ottawa County Parks at 616-738-4810. Children must be accompanied by adults.
The D.J. Angus trips will depart from the Harbor Island docks by the restroom building on the following schedule: 10-11:30 a.m., 12:30-2 p.m., and 2:30-4 p.m. Trips will go down to Lake Michigan from Harbor Island then back, and upriver a bit if there is time.
