Michigan State Police Sgt. Scott LeRoy said Friday "it appears that the cause of the fire was arson (and) there were multiple points of origin located within the building."

Crews from about 10 fire departments spent more than two hours battling the blaze early Friday morning after someone spotted flames on the roof of the building in Vicksburg, about 60 miles south of Grand Rapids.

No injuries were reported. Firefighters searched the building and didn't find anyone inside.

WOOD-TV reported the building has been vacant for years, but formerly was the home of a number of paper companies. Part of the building was destroyed.
