Deputies were called to Todd Wenzel Chevrolet Saturday morning when employees found eight damaged trucks in the new-vehicle sales lot, said Lt. Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
Thieves smashed windows to get inside the trucks to remove high-end stereo systems and GPS devices, Bennett said. The damage and theft amount could exceed $30,000.
Holland Police responded to a similar event at Elhart Pontiac GMC.
