U.S. Attorney Patrick Miles in Grand Rapids said authorities seized the crystal meth in Van Buren County on Aug. 13. He said undercover agents made several purchases before the seizure.
The defendants all have pleaded not guilty to the charges conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute the drug and possession of the drug. The charges carry a penalty of 10 years to life in prison.
The defendants are 44-year-old Alejandro Garcia of Grand Junction; 59-year-old Thomas Streich of Lawton; 38-year-old Jose Sierra-Villegas of Kansas City, Mo.; and 24-year-old Brent Kellerman of Harrisonville, Mo.
