Second Civil War soldier cemetery tour Sept. 6

Loutit District Library's Jeanette Weiden and Tri-Cities Historical Museum's Jane Ladley will again be the guides for a Civil War soldier tour through Lake Forest Cemetery.

This second tour will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6.

The tour centers around the lives of local Civil War soldiers buried at the Grand Haven cemetery. The program commemorates the sesquicentennial of the Civil War.

Walkers planning to attend are asked to park in the parking lot off Lake Avenue, and then meet at the cemetery office. Attendees must be able to walk the cemetery.
