The Trojans received hat tricks from Matt Escalante and Colin Sparks in an 8-0 victory over Tri-County. The Trojans improve to 6-3-2 overall and 2-0 in league play. The loss comes as quite a disappointment to a Tri-County team that entered the game with a 5-1 record overall and a 1-0 league record.
LAKERS REMAIN PERFECT
Spring Lake continued its undefeated start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Ludington on Thursday.
Riley Kammeraad and K.J. Sanchez scored first-half goals for the Lakers, who are now 7-0 overall and 3-0 in Lakes Eight action. Tyler Cole also scored in the second half.
WARRIORS SETTLE FOR TIE
Western Michigan Christian came back from two goals down but had to settle for a 3-3 tie at Covenant Christian Thursday in a game called after the first overtime due to darkness.
