The project to reconstruct M-104 will transition to the next stage today. Traffic will be shifted onto the newly constructed south half of M-104 to facilitate reconstruction of the north half of the roadway.
One lane of westbound M-104 will remain open for the full length of the project.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, all eastbound M-104 traffic will be rerouted onto eastbound I-96, exit at 68th Avenue, enter westbound I-96, exit at 112th Avenue and take a right (north) to Cleveland Street.
By the way, the new 112th Avenue Bridge over I-96 is now open.
The work is weather dependent (no rain, cold temps, etc.)
For up-to-date information on this project and others, go to the list of statewide lane closures at michigan.gov/drive.

Kind of crazy. Anyone wanting to go one mile east of the exit on M-104 will have to drive 10 miles or so to Coopersville first, and then back.
