Robinson fire, school open house is Thursday

The annual Robinson Elementary School and Robinson Township Fire Department open house will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the school, 11801 120th Ave.

Parents can get a tour of the school and their child's classroom. There will be a PTA book fair and a pizza concession stand manned by Cub Scouts from Pack 3032.

Firefighters will provide fire truck rides and fire prevention information. Also part of the event will be the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department Mounted Division, Ottawa County Emergency Services and the American Red Cross.

Fire Chief Paul VanVelzen said the AeroMed helicopter will be there if it is not required for medical service.

The event is open to the public.
