The Lakers’ team score of 211 was good enough to beat Holland, which shot a 217, and Western Michigan Christian, which didn’t record a team score since it brought only three players to the event.
“We didn’t exactly win it as much as they lost it,” Lakers’ coach George Bitner said with a chuckle.
Karissa Raschke shot a 47 for the Lakers, followed by Ginnie Olszewski with a 54. Emma Conroy and Faith Lee each shot a 55 for the Lakers.
Spring Lake takes on Hudsonville Unity Christian today at Pigeon Creek Golf Course.
