GH church to host classes for young families

In addition to small groups and Bible studies, First Presbyterian Church of Grand Haven is offering classes this fall that focus on contemporary issues facing today's young families.

The classes are a response to the congregation’s request for classes that focus on current family and personal matters. The classes will provide a time for sharing, questions, and discovering that our issues and concerns are shared by others.

Classes meet Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 and 10:15-11:15. Child care and Sunday school are offered at both class times, and pre-enrollment is not required. All classes are open to the public.

— Oct. 14: Life as a Single Person

— Oct. 21: Addictions

— Oct. 28: Recovery from Grief

— Nov. 4: Parenting: No Returns! All Sales are Final!

— Nov. 11: Medications and Mental Health

— Nov. 18: Coping with and Overcoming Depression

— Dec. 2: Getting Married and Staying Married
