Wicked Lake Forest Cemetery tour planned

Explore the lives of some of Grand Haven's strangest and wickedest characters from the past.
Oct 9, 2012

Tour their graves and hear their unique stories from Loutit District Library genealogist Jeanette Weiden and local author Amberrose Hammond as they provide a historical journey through the Lake Forest Cemetery from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Walkers planning to attend are asked to park in the parking lot off of Lake Avenue, then meet at the cemetery office.

Attendees must be able to walk the cemetery. For more information, visit loutitlibrary.org; or call 616-842-5560, ext. 225.

"Explore the lives of some of Grand Haven's strangest and wickedest characters from the past." If the past is measured in weeks, judging from the editorial perspective of the Tribune and its progressive subscribers, poor Ken David will be one of the exhibits. Will the Lakeshore Diversity Alliance be on hand to ensure none of the unique stories might require a "conversation?"

Awww cmon, Ken David is sooooo last week......this actually sounds kinda interesting to me, it's just a shame it's in the middle in the afternoon instead of after dark. They could issue Coleman lanterns to add to the atmosphere. :-)

o.k. Hope you're right about the chairs being behind us. Suggest they don't hang the lanterns from a tree or the issue may return.
