Israel Pacheco-Gutierrez, 22, is charged with first-degree home invasion and unlawful imprisonment.

Police said Pacheco-Gutierrez broke into a Holland Township home on the morning of Oct. 22. They said he implied he had a gun, and tied up and blindfolded an 18-year-old resident.

Detectives said Pacheco-Gutierrez took at least $2,500 worth of televisions, electronics and games from the home. Shortly after he left, the teen freed himself and called for help.

Tips from neighbors led detectives to Pacheco-Gutierrez and the stolen property, police said.

Detectives said they are trying to determine if Pacheco-Gutierrez is responsible for similar crimes in the area.
