Bark for Life at new county park

Dogs and dog owners can explore the new 142-acre park's trails, see the newly refurbished log cabin, play games, view exhibits and sample doggie treats between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

A $20 registration fee benefits the American Cancer Society and gets your dog a purple bandana. Preregistration is not required.

Connor Bayou is in Robinson Township. A small parking area is located on the north side of North Cedar Drive, west of 128th Avenue.

This event is part of the Grand River Greenway Parks Celebration 2012.
