St. Joe County makes ballot fix in court race

St. Joseph County officials said the District 3 appeals court race shouldn't be on the ballot. St. Joseph County now is in District 1.

An extra ballot was printed in time for today's election.

Voters who already cast an absentee ballot with the wrong court race were able to go to their township or city office Monday to see the new ballot. Or they can show up today and cast a vote for that one race.

Despite the mistake, there should be no practical impact on the judicial candidates in districts 1 or 3. All are running unopposed.
