The familiar story follows the exploits of matchmaker Dolly Levi, who arranges marriages for those around her and finds one for herself.
This production features the talents of 130 students as actors, crew and musicians. The crew — along with the help of parents, staff and community volunteers — make the magic happen on stage.
The musical offers a charming glimpse into a collection of lovable characters surrounded by many memorable songs. Along with the famous song, “Hello Dolly,” the show features such familiar favorites as “Before the Parade Passes By,” “It Takes a Woman,” “It Only Takes a Moment,” “Put On Your Sunday Clothes,” and “So Long, Dearie.”
"Hello Dolly" will be performed at 7 p.m. today through Saturday, and a 2 p.m. show Sunday, at the school's Performing Arts Center.
Tickets may be purchased online at http://ghaps.org/ or at the door before each performance. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $8 for students and senior citizens.
