Carley Chase, 18, of Marne, was driving east on Roosevelt at 8:15 a.m. when she failed to stop for a stop sign at 24th Avenue, Ditmar said. Her car struck the driver’s door of a vehicle driven by John Perrin, 45, of Coopersville.

Chase, her passenger Katelyn Schoenborn, 17, of Conklin, Perrin and his two passengers, Jonathan Perrin, 26 and Tyler Perrin, 19, both of Coopersville, were all taken by ambulance to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids.
