Gina Twa benefit concert

Local musicians of The Garrett Borns Band performed a benefit concert for Gina Twa, an eighth-grader at White Pines Middle School who was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder.

Approximately 700 people attended the concert, raising approximately $4,000 for the Twa family, according to organizers. The money will go toward Gina's hospital bills and other related expenses, family members said.
