Fallen Heroes Memorial installed in Grand Haven's Central Park

The Fallen Heroes Memorial monument was installed in Grand Haven's Central Park by workmen from HeavyLift Inc. and Superior Monument on Monday.

The three-piece coral gray granite structure weighs 30.5 tons, according to Superior Monument owner Dave Sietsema. A bronze eagle with 54-inch wingspan tops the monument.
