Britney Spears in Grand Rapids

What do you get when you mix 10 semitrailers, eight tour buses, Pauly D from "Jersey Shore" and a slew of well-dressed security guards? The Britney Spears Femme Fatale 2011 tour.

Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids was transformed Wednesday into a flaymboyant over-the-top pyro-induced pop show featuring the Britney Spears. Armed with a barrage of hits, Britney and her troupe of colorful dancers lit up the arena with energya. Highlights included many wardrobe changes and video screens that towered high to the ceiling. Other notable moments were bringing up a male fan for a striptease-type piece while placed firmly center stage for all to see.
