Pier to pier swimmers ticketed

Two young men were ticketed by Grand Haven Department of Public Safety for violating the city ordinance which prohibits swimming in the channel. Emergency crews responded to the Grand Haven South Pier at 1:43 p.m. when they were alerted that two people were swimming across the channel and could be in trouble.
