Boat Safety event

 Children in daycare programs at the Tri-Cities Family YMCA, as well as area residents heading inside for a workout were treated to safety displays by personnel from Coast Guard Station Grand Haven, Ottawa County Sheriff's Department Marine Patrol and Grand Haven Department of Public Safety. The emphasis was on wearing life jackets using the "Wear It!" campaign by the National Safe Boating Council for National Safe Boating Week.
