Careerline Tech Center/Freedom Christian School student Grace MacMaster picked as finalist in Doodle 4 Google contest

Grace MacMaster of Hudsonville is a Careerline Tech Center student, and one of 40 finalists in an annual Doodle 4 Google contest — that, later this month, will post the winning entry on the Internet search engine’s home page.

MacMaster is a student at Freedom Christian School in Hudsonville and in a visual communication class at Careerline Tech Center, part of the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District. The students in the class entered the Doodle 4 Google contest, along with 107,000 entries across the country.

MacMaster could win a $15,000 college scholarship and a $25,000 grant for technology at the school. The online voting goes until May 13. The link to vote is Google.com/doodle4google
