A brother shares childhood memories and grown-up dreams

I have great memories at Griffin because of Mr. Bye. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. What a great man.

Al Schaffer

Robin and I shared a love for Grand Haven, the Buccaneers and teaching and coaching in "The Haven". I cherish the lengthy conversation we had when I returned to G H for Ronnie Kemink's memorial service last year. We talked about the "good ol days" and he shared with me with great pride the success of the current Bucs and his plans for the future.
He was not one the "good guys", he was one of the "Really Good Guys".
R I P Robin knowing that the greater Grand Haven area is a better place because of your dedication and service. Coach Al Schaffer

Robin was a gentle soul with a constant smile.
He was encouraging to not only his peers, but to his student athletes, their biggest fan.
Robin will be missed, but his life's lesson of living life to the fullest will carry on.
