... Really? You couldn’t shoot them off before midnight? Shame on you!

THUMBS WAY DOWN for the MICHIGAN LEGISLATURE that legalized fireworks so that people who work the next morning can't sleep, dogs are literally terrorized, and for the mess of cardboard my neighbor's 'fireworks display' left in my backyard and my roof. This is a dumb law that legalizes inconsiderate behavior!! Thanks Governor Snyder for reducing my quality of life on holidays. Jerks prevail.

Have you ever talked to your neighbor about the situation?!?

Michael Johnson

She shouldn't have to; it isn't her responsibility to inform the neighbor of the regulations governing fireworks use in Michigan - and anyone unaware of or unwilling to follow those regulations should really be prohibited from using them in the first place.

My comment is concerning the "fallout debris" that is landing on her property. Assuming her neighbor is following the Michigan Law, the neighbor may not be aware of traveling debris caused by a change in wind direction.

Why yes I have. What they did was legal, just inconsiderate. They should have moved to a house with more acreage. But their behavior has been OK'ed by the Lansing politicians. They can't fix the roads but they can drive divisiveness between neighbors. I can hardly wait for their Labor Day fireworks party.

Second that emotion!

"Her neighbors" probably only lived here for a week. Ask the Vet's about bombs bursting in air. It's one thing when you know they're coming. another when they're incoming at all hours. Thanks snydley. Ranks right up there with wide open motorcycle exhaust and explosive sound systems. Don't forget to blow your horn several times when you lock your car. more noise pollution.

Recently was told of one that landed on the homeowners roof. They didn't realize it until the flames were coming out. Not safe in a neighborhood, for sure.
