Is honesty always the best policy?

Janice Korstange of Grand Haven writes in a recent blog: "Had a surprise going away to Africa party for my daughter a week ago Saturday. I was very surprised at the fact that she was surprised and not being a natural liar, I was surprised at how much fun it was lying to her all week about what we were going to do on Saturday. I actually enjoyed embellishing things that I knew were not going to happen. It got me thinking about how honest we are with our loved ones."
