Although the weather was cool and rainy on Thursday, Friday's sunny warm weather made up for it.
I have always wanted to visit the Grand Haven area, and when I saw that you had the walkway to the water, we decided to make the 2.5-hour trip from Chicago Heights, Ill. What a great advantage to have that walkway! I have a bad knee, which makes it hard to walk on dry sand. I was able to set foot in the Lake Michigan water that I love so much. Thank you very much.
I'm sure there is a hefty maintenance price to provide the walkway, but I sure wish that this would catch on to other beaches as it was a pleasure to watch parents with children, disabled and the elderly use it with no problem.
Again, thank you so much.
