Has feminism gone too far?

Nov 13, 2012

sp;International's mom-ology.org site says it has.

In "What I know about flappers," Liz Sagaser says she has grown up to believe that women should accept the role of traditonal homemaker as more than selling out to the sexist past.

"I still think girls and women rock, and I still think we can do anything the other gender can do," Liz wrote. "But I also think modern feminism goes too far when it belittles the work of women who choose to be stay-at-home mothers and immerse themselves fully in the work of home and family. I happen to work full-time outside the home (partly by choice and partly because our home in suburbia comes with a price tag), and I have a tremendous respect for moms whose greatest work takes place within the four walls of their home."

Waiting . . . .

For what? Helen Reddy to show up?

Feminists only support liberal women, they don't support women who stay home and raise a family, that's considered "a step backwards". I remember a CBS 60 Minutes interview with Gloria Steinem, she said "women only need men for their paychecks". When feminists speak, I tune out...
