President Obama's inability to negotiate with Congressional leadership is most disappointing. That he had to send Vice President Biden in to break the stalemate in the final stages of the Fiscal Cliff negotiations is unacceptable. He is the President and has the responsibility to do this work. The last four years in Washington have been disastrous due to his inability to work with Congress. If Mr. Obama continues to fail to establish a working relationship with BOTH parties, I fear what will happen over the next four years.

Walking Alive

Hard to negotiate with a group (GOP) that can't agree amongst themselves on anything at all. Your Tea party mentality will bring our country down. It takes a village, in this case, a Congress (who left town). Negotiations must come from all side, not just the 'opposition'. They had all year to do something about it, but the GOP dominated House chose to try to repeal Obamacare three dozen times instead, and turn down jobs bills, and Vet bills, and the list goes on. Obstructionists, the GOP led this Congress to be the most ineffective, passing the least bills since 1940. Go figure.
