Supports Roger Bergman

I support Roger because he made his time as Grand Haven mayor count. Early in his career as an elected local leader, he demonstrated a commitment to working with local businesses to create the best environment for job creation and economic growth. He held local industry accountable for results; he visited our plants, and met with employers and employees to verify that Grand Haven’s commitment to industry was well-placed.

Prior to Roger’s run as mayor, there were doubts about the support at City Hall for local industry. Roger helped restore confidence, and we are now seeing a surge in re-investment in local manufacturing.

I see Roger as one who asks, “What can I do to help?” His question is always sincere and he listens to the answer. I will be casting my vote at the Aug. 7 primary for Roger Bergman and encourage all voters to do the same.
