Lakeshore Pregnancy Center receives grant

Lakeshore Pregnancy Center has received a grant from the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation's Greatest Needs Fund to help fund renovation of its new office suite at 700 Washington Ave. in Grand Haven.

The center plans to move from its current location, Suite 150, to larger quarters in Suite 130 of the same building by August.

The building renovation will provide for more one-on-one meeting space with clients, a large group meeting area, a much larger materials good area and more administration space — said Becky Eminger, director of the center's Grand Haven office. Eminger said the center's services will continue at the current location throughout the renovation, and most of the labor is being provided by local contractors who are volunteering their services.
