Traffic crash victims released from hospital

Four people injured in accidents Friday in the Tri-Cities have been released from the hospital.
Police said Mitchell Diep, 19, of Spring Lake lost control of his Buick LeSabre on northbound U.S. 31 near the top of the drawbridge at around 1:45 p.m. Friday, and the car slammed into a guardrail. Diep was treated and released from North Ottawa Community Hospital, hospital officials said.
NOCH officials also said Louella Underhill, 59, of Muskegon who smashed her 1997 Dodge Caravan at about 5:45 p.m. Friday on northbound U.S. 31, near Van Wagoner Road was also treated and released from the Grand Haven hospital. Police said Underhill slowed down for traffic and lost control of the van, which left the highway and rolled over into a ditch on the shoulder of the road.
Passengers in the minivan, James Underhill and Laura Timmerman, were also treated and released at NOCH.
