Pianist to perform at Muskegon B&B April 6
Thu, Mar 27, 2008
MUSKEGON Piano selections by great composers will come to life when Mary Beth Crain performs at Langeland House Bed & Breakfast on Sunday, April 6, at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door. Light refreshments will be served.
Crain studied piano and harpsichord at Indiana University. She enjoys giving informal concerts that are "just plain fun for both me and the audience," she said.
The works of Bach, Chopin, Rameau, Granados, Chabrier, Mozart and Gottschalk will be featured in Crain's recital. In addition, she will talk about the music and the composers, inviting the audience to "listen in" on what makes each piece unique.
This concert concludes the 2007-08 series of "Musical Interludes" house concerts held in the intimate setting of Langeland House's living room. The 2008-09 concert schedule will be available in September.
